Open Water Rowing in a Stunning Location

Watch the full moon rise over Belfast Bay and the stars light up the sky from the wooden dory Sorciere. What could be more magical? This special scenic row is offered monthly, year-round. Tea and treats will be served to compliment your experience. In addition to moon-gazing, on-board activities can include astrology, tarot and contemplating other cosmic activity. You can row or be a passenger--please note on the booking form. All skill-levels welcome! The Full Moon Row is for private groups of 2-3 people or a group of mixed individuals, ages 12 and up (with parental supervision). Total on the water time is approximately and hour and twenty minutes. $100 per person. Special pricing options for 2-3 people: $190 for 2; $285 for 3. Your row begins with a safety talk, reviewing the different parts of the boat, going over rowing commands and getting seated properly and comfortably. Lifejackets (PFDs) are required to be worn on the boat and docks. DWR will provide these--however, if you have your own PFD, please bring it and let DWR know. Dress appropriately for the weather (translation: layers!). Temps can be brisk in the late afternoon/evening. Wear comfortable synthetic, silk or wool clothing clothing, wind resistant outerwear and footwear appropriate for the condition and perhaps a hat. Bring water to stay hydrated and a headlamp or flashlight. WEATHER AND DWR CANCELLATION POLICY: Safety is DWR's top priority. Rows are weather dependent. DWR will go out in a variety of weather conditions, including light to moderate wind, some chop or swell, fog, rain and snow. DWR's client cancellation policy applies--please review.
