Fogbow!

The last time I saw one of these on the water was July of 2020, the first year I had my boat!

I was unexpectedly out of state last week, bringing my mom back home to upstate New York. On the way, we decided to stop at Salem, MA. My mom had never been here before.

Being of the witchy persuasion, I am always happy to slip into this historic town.

Of course, the people killed in the spring and summer of 1692 were not witches. It is a potent reminder of this dark history, the killing of innocents.

The dark stain of history lingers. Ironic that the commercialization of witchcraft bore out of this.

Even still, is fun to wander about a town where being a witch is celebrated.

We weren’t able to go out for September’s Full Corn Moon Row. It was either raining or cloudy for three days in a row, during the span when the moon was waxing to peak illumination. I will do my FM Rows with clouds, which offer some of the most dramatic skies, but not 100% cloud cover! Ahhh…Pisces (the sign the full moon was in this month). Sometimes this happens, though not often!

Fortunately, my FM crew was available to do a Sunset Row on Friday. And what a treat it was! No moon, but this…

It did not disappoint! Many seals out there, basking in the sunset.
