Experience the holiday season in a the MOST unique way! Special pricing options available for 2-3 pp
"Dashing through the bay, in a wooden dory boat..." Catch the holiday spirit in this truly one-of-a-kind on the water experience! Go for a row in Belfast Harbor in a traditional-style wooden dory boat. On this rowing tour, we'll sing holiday songs, sip hot chocolate or warm spiced cider and yes, jingle some bells! This special holiday row will be offered throughout December, mornings and some afternoon sessions! You can row--some basic instruction will be provided. If you'd like to be a passenger only, please note on the booking form. All skill-levels welcome! This experience is for up to three people. A fun and memorable outing for individuals and private groups of family and friends, couples or coworkers. Ages 10 and up are welcome! $100 for individuals. Special pricing offered for 2-3 people: $190 for 2; $285 for 3. Your row begins with a safety talk, reviewing the different parts of the boat, getting seated properly and comfortably and an intro to technique. Lifejackets (PFDs) are required to be worn on the dock and in the boat. DWR will provide these--however, if you have your own PFD, please bring it. Dress appropriately for the weather. Temperatures are cold this time of year and the wind can be brisk. Wear comfortable synthetic, silk or wool clothing clothing, a warm jacket, a hat and gloves and footwear that will keep you warm and dry. Bring water to stay hydrated. Sunglasses are recommended. WEATHER AND DWR CANCELLATION POLICY: Safety is DWR's top priority. Rows are weather dependent. DWR will go out in a variety of weather conditions, including light to moderate wind, some chop or swell, fog, rain and snow. DWR's client cancellation policy applies--please review. Cancellation Policy
A client-canceled row that happens 48 hours in advance will receive a full refund; 24 hours in advance, half the fee will be refunded. Less than 24 hours, day of cancelations or "no-shows" will not be eligible for a refund. A canceled row may be rescheduled one time. A cancelation after a row has been rescheduled will not be eligible for a refund. DWR reserves the right to cancel a row at any time, for any reason, generally due to safety concerns. If this is necessary, DWR will make every effort to reschedule the row. If this is not possible, a session credit will be offered, good for one year after the row was booked. Rows purchased for a particular service cannot be transferred to another service. Purchased Pricing Plans are for the purchaser only--cannot be used for another or transferred to another person. Gift cards can be used for Pricing Plans.
